Given :

  • Length of wall (L) = 1350cm

  • Breadth of wall (B) = 600cm

  • Height of wall (H) = 22.5cm

____________

  • Length of Brick (L) = 27cm

  • Breadth of Brick (B) = 12.5cm

  • Height of Brick (H) = 9cm

To find :

  • How many bricks will be required to construct a wall.

 \: \:

Solution :

  • In the Question Length ,Breadth and height Is given of the both wall and brick So,Firstly We will find the volume of Wall and Brick and then find the number of bricks.

 \: \:

Volume of Wall = L × B × H

➤ 1350 × 600 × 225

182250000

 \: \:

Volume of Brick = L × B × H

➤ 27 × 125 × 9

30375

 \: \:

No of Bricks = Volume of wall/Brick

➤ 182250000/30375

6000

 \: \:

6000 Bricks are required to construct the wall.

Given :

Dimensions of Walls :

  • Length of Wall = 13.5m
  • Breadth of Wall = 6m
  • Height of Wall = 22.5cm

Dimensions of Bricks :

  • Length of Brick = 27cm
  • Breadth of Brick = 12.5cm
  • Height of Brick = 9cm

 \\

To Find :

  • The number of bricks required to construct the wall.

 \\

Solution :

✰ So in this question, the dimensions of wall and dimensions of brick are given. But the dimensions of the brick are in metre , so Firstly we will change them into centimetres and then we will find the volume of the wall. After getting the Volume of wall we will find the volume of brick and after that we will divide the volume of wall by volume of brick to get the required number of bricks.

⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀➟ ⠀⠀⠀1m = 100cm

⠀⠀⠀➟ ⠀⠀⠀13.5m = 100 × 13.5

⠀⠀⠀➟ ⠀⠀⠀13.5m = 1350cm

⠀⠀⠀➟ ⠀⠀⠀Length of Wall = 1350cm

⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀➟ ⠀⠀⠀1m = 100cm

⠀⠀⠀➟ ⠀⠀⠀6m = 100 × 6

⠀⠀⠀➟ ⠀⠀⠀6m = 600cm

⠀⠀⠀➟ ⠀⠀⠀Breadth of Wall = 600cm

⠀⠀

Volume of Wall :

  • Volume = L × B × H
  • Volume = 1350 × 600 × 22.5
  • Volume = 1350 × 13500
  • Volume = 18225000cm³

⠀⠀

Volume of Brick :

  • Volume = L × B × H
  • Volume = 27 × 12.5 × 9
  • Volume = 27 × 112.5
  • Volume = 3,037.5cm³

Bricks Required for Wall :

  • Volume of Wall / Volume of Brick
  • 18225000 / 3,037.5
  • 6000 Bricks

Thus 6000 bricks will be required to construct the wall.
