Initially in the solution, sugar is 5 %.

Sugar = 8 × 5/100 = 0.4 L

Water = 8 - 0.4 = 7.6 L

From this, 2 L water is evaporated out. So in final solution -

Sugar = 0.4 L

Water = 7.6 - 2 = 5.6 L

So percentage of sugar in remaining solution,

C = 0.4 / (0.4 + 5.6) × 100

C = 6.67 %

Therefore, percentage of sugar in remaining solution is 6.67 %.
