\large\bf\underline{Step\:wise\:calculation\::}

\sf\:2x^{2}=1024

  • Transposing square to other side it becomes √

\sf\twoheadrightarrow\:2x=\sqrt{1024}

  • We know √1024 = √32 × 32 = 32

\sf\twoheadrightarrow\:2x=32

  • Transposing 2 to the other side it goes to the denominator

\sf\twoheadrightarrow\:x=\frac{32}{2 }

  • Reducing the fraction into the lower terms

\sf\twoheadrightarrow\:x=\cancel{\frac{32}{2}}

\small{\underline{\boxed{\mathrm\red{\twoheadrightarrow\:x\:=\:16}}}}

Doing so we got the answer but I think there is some problem with the question . Since m not able to verify. So I suggest that please do check the question once. The correct question might be \sf\:2x^{2}=\sqrt{1024} .

Do check once :D

!! Hope it helps !!
