6. If one of the zeroes of the quadratic
polynomial f(x) = 14x²-42k²x-9 is negetive of the other, find the value of K.

Let a and b be the 2 zeroes of polynomial

If one is negative of other...

(a + b ) = 0

as we know sum of zeroes =

- b / a= (- 42 k / 14 ) = 0

(-3) k = 0

therefore k = 0
