6)Given,

p+q=k. ................ (i)

p-q=n. ................ (i)

and, k>n

=> k-n>0, i.e (k-n) is +ve. ........... (iii)

From (i)-(ii), we get---

p+q-(p-q) = k-n

=> p+q-p+q = a +ve no. [from (iii)]

=> 2q = a +ve no.

=> q = (a +ve no.)÷2

=> q = a +ve no.

Similarly try next one. Ans will be negative.
