Answer:

1x+2x+3x = 180°

6x = 180°

x = 180°/6 = 30°

Hence,

1x=30°

2x=60°

3x=90°

This is a Right angle triangle.

ANSWER:

  • The angles of the triangle are : 30° , 60° , 90°.
  • It is a right angled triangle.

TO FIND:

  • The measures of the triangle?
  • What type of triangle is it?

GIVEN:

  • Angles of a triangle are in the ratio 1:2:3.

SOLUTION:

Let the Angles be = x , 2x , 3x

FORMULA TO FIND:

Sum of angles of the traingle = 180

SOLVING BY APPLYING THE FORMULA:

x + 2x + 3x = 180

6x = 180

x = 180/6

x = 30

  • Angle 1 = 30 ( x = 30 )
  • Angle 2 = 60 ( 30 × 2 = 60 )
  • Angle 3 = 90 ( 30 × 3 = 90 )

Hence , The angles of the triangle are : 30° , 60° , 90°

  • It is a right angled triangle.
