Arithmetic Progression
So nth term of an A.P. is 4n - 10
- aₙ ₊ ₁ - aₙ = d
→ aₙ ₊ ₁ - aₙ = 4(n + 1) - 10 - (4n - 10)
→ aₙ ₊ ₁ - aₙ = 4n + 4 - 10 - 4n + 10
→ aₙ ₊ ₁ - aₙ = 4 = d
Hence common difference is independent of variables therefore 4n - 10 exist in A.P.
______________________________
(i) First term :-
→ 4n - 10 = 4(1) - 10 = - 6
______________________________
(ii) Common difference = 4
______________________________
(iii) 16th term :-
→ 4(16) - 10 = 54
