Answer:

A given number is divisible by 11, if the difference between the sum of its digits at odd places and the sum of its digits at even places, is either 0 or a number divisible by 11.

The given number is 7254*94

Sum of its digits at odd places (4+*+5+7)=(16+*)

Sum of its digits at even places (9+4+2)=15

Hence ,number required in place of * to make it divisible by 11=10

By adding the value of * as 10 .

Difference between the digits at odd places and the digits at even places =>(16+*=16+10)-15

=>26-15=11

11 which is divisible by 11.

KumarJayant: in question there is not mentioned that * should be filled by 2-digit no .
KumarJayant: yes i mentioned in question asker comments box
KumarJayant: ok
KumarJayant: I also get 10 but do not solve because according to mathematical theory * is filled with single digit no. untill any option is not mentioned in question. .
KumarJayant: ok ...
KumarJayant: bye
