Given :-

  • The perimeter of a rectangular park is 2200 m and its length  is 125 m.

To Find :-

  • Find its breadth

Solution :-

~Here, we're given the perimeter and the length of a rectangle. We need to find the breadth of that rectangle. We can find the value of the breadth by putting the values in the formula of perimeter of a rectangle.

As we know that ,

\underline{\boxed{\sf \bigstar \;\; Perimeter\;of\;rectangle = 2( l + b)}}

Where,

  • l is length
  • b is breadth

____________

Finding the Breadth :-

\sf \implies 2200\;m = 2( 125\;m + b )

\sf \implies 125\;m + b = \dfrac{2200}{2}

\sf \implies 125\;m + b = 1100\;m

\sf \implies b = 1100\;m - 125\;m

\sf \implies b = 975\;m

____________

Hence,

  • Breadth of that rectangle is 975 m

Given :

  • Length  \leadsto 125 m
  • Perimeter  \leadsto 2200 m

To find :

  • The Breadth of the Rectangle

Solution :

In the following question we have to find the Breadth of the Rectangle as Length and Perimeter are already given the units are also same (m) so it can be solve easily So, let's solve!

  \therefore  \: {\sf { \underline { Let \: the \: breadth \: be \:(x) \: for \: now}}} \\  \\  \\  :  \implies \sf \: 2200 m \:  = 2 \times (125 m \:  + x) \\  \\  \\  :  \implies \sf \dfrac{ \cancel{2200}}{ \cancel{2}}  = 1100m \\  \\  \\  :  \implies \sf 1100m \:  = (125 + b) \\ \\  \\     \therefore { \sf{ \underline{Here \: we \: will \: take \: 125 \: from \: RHS \: to \: LHS \: so \: we \: will \: subtract \: it \: now}}}  \\  \\  \\  :  \implies \sf 1100m \:  - 125m \\  \\  \\  :  \implies { \underline{ \boxed{ \pink{ \mathfrak{Breadth  \blue\leadsto 975 \: m}}}}}

•°• Hence, verified! that the Breadth is 975 m
