1/X = 1/3+√2

rationalise the denominator

==> 1/3+√2 ×(3-√2/3-√2)

==> 3-√2/3-2

==> 1/X = 3-√2

now

find

==> (X+1/X) so putting the value

==>( 3+√2 +3-√2)

==> 6

so it's rational number
