f(x) = x2 + x - 2

f(x)=x^2-1x+2x-2

f(x)=x(x-1)+2(x-1)

f(x)=x+2=0. x-1=0

f(x)=x=-2. x=1

-2,1 are the zeroes of the polynomial

alpha=-2 beta=1

1/alpha -1/beta

1/-2-1/1

(1×1)-(-2×1)/-2

1+2/-2

3/-2

The value of 1/alpha -1/beta=3/-2
