6. In a class test containing 10 questions, 5 marks are awarded for every correct
answer and 2 marks are deducted for every incorrect answer and 0 for questions
not attempted.
(1) Rohit gets four correct and six incorrect answers. What is his score?
(ii) Seema gets 5 correct and 5 incorrect answers. What is her score?
(iii) Ritu attempted 7 questions and gets only 2 correct answers. What is her score?​

1) score of rohit = (4*5) - (6*2) = 20-12=8

2)score of seema = (5*5) - (5*2) = 25-10 = 15

3)score of ritu = (2*5) - (2*(7-2)) = 10-10 = 0

score = 20-12=8

(2) five correct =25

five incorrect = 10

score =25-10= 15

(3) attempted 7 question = 35

two correct = 10

therefore, five incorrect = 10

score=10-10=0
