Answer:

1) marks of radhika=30

correct answers=10

no of wrong answer=x

10(+5) +x(-2) =30

50-2x=30

2x=50-30

2x=20

x=20/2=10

so, radhika attempted 10 incorrect questions

2) marks of jay= -12

correct answers =4

wrong answers=y

4(+5) +y(-2) =-12

20-2y=-12

2y=20+12

2y=32

y=32/2=16

so, jay attempted 16 wrong answers
