ǟռֆաɛʀ :

In PQRS using Pythagoras theorem

(PQ)² = (QR)² + (PR)²

√(5)² - (3)² = PQ

∴ PQ = 9

Now perimeter of ▲PQR = 5 + 3 + 9 = 12cm

Answer:

Given ,

PQS is an isosceles triangle .

& PQ = PS = 5cm and QR = 3cm .

Using Pythagoras theorem in∆ PQR .

PQ^2 = PR^2 + QR^2

PR = 25 - 9 .

PR = 4 cm .

so, perimeter of triangle PQR

=. PQ + QR + PR

=. 5 + 3 + 4

=. 12 cm .
