6. In the figure, ABCD is a parallelogram
in which angle DAP = 20°, angle BAP = 40° and

To find  : angle APD and angle BPC

Solution:

in a parallelogram opposite sides are parallel

thus, DC parallel to AB and take transversal as PB

angle BPC = angle PBA  (alternate angles are equal when lines are parallel)

angle BPC = 80 degrees

similarly, again taking DC parallel to AB and taking transversal as AP

andle DPA = angle PAB  (alternate angles are equal when lines are parallel)

angle APD = 40 degrees
