we can say that in a circle, if we draw its diameter as hypotenuse of a right angled triangle 3rd vertex will meet on the circle and its angle is 90

and here this vertex is B

and midpoint of hypotenuse is the centre of the circle here.so BD is radius of the circle.

half of hypotenuse is also radius

so full length of hyptenuse=BD×2

=AC=BD×2

=AC/2=BD
