In ∆ABC
AB=AP +PB
6cm=4 +PB
PB= 2cm
As PQ is parallel to BC
PB=QC
therefore PB=2cm=QC
AC = AQ+QC
5cm=AQ +2cm
Therefore AQ =3cm
hence AQ = 3cm and QC=2cm.
