Question No. 6 : option (B) - 2a = b

Question No. 7 : option (C) - \theta = 16°

Given:

Question No. 6

To find :

Whether the relations between a and b is true ?

Given:

Points A(1, 2), B(0,0) and C(a, b) are collinear.

From the given data :

If A(1, 2), B(0,0) and C(a, b) are collinear. From point A and B, it can be concluded that If x increases 1 unit then y increases 2 unit.That is 1;2

This ratio is continued because it is collinear

Hence  the ratio of a:b is also 1:2

So, 2a = b.

Therefore, option (B) 2a = b is the correct answer.

Question No. 7

To find :

Value of  theta ( \theta ) .

Given :

sin ( 44° + \theta )  = cos 30°

Using the properties of trigonometry,

cos \theta = sin ( 90° - \theta )

sin ( 44° + \theta ) = sin ( 90° - 30° )

sin ( 44° + \theta ) = sin 60°

Removing "sin" from both the sides, we get

44° + \theta = 60°

\theta = 16°

Therefore, the value of \theta is 16°, option (C) is the correct answer..
