1.An alloy is a substance made by melting two or more elements together, at least one of them metal.

2.Sublimation is a technique used to separate the components of a mixture containing a sublimable volatile solid and a non-sublimable impurity. Therefore, the mixture of camphor and sodium chloride can be separated by the process of sublimation.

3.(i)Water from salt. Method: Distillation.

(ii)Iron filings from mixtures of iron and sulphur: Method: Magnetic Separation.

i-The Reaction Between Iron Filings and Sulphur Powder is an Example of - Fill in the Blank. Iron filings and sulphur both are elements, they combine to form Iron sulphide. It is a combination reaction.
