a) Bird migration is a two-way journey from breeding or resting place to feeding or nesting place and vice versa. It is a periodic, regular, to and fro movement. Birds are the greatest migrants, however, some species of birds do not migrate. The birds which remain in a country throughout the year are called residents.
b) a concave mirror is used in torch lights , because the light ray from the source placed on the focus of a concave mirror are reflected in such a way that the reflected ray are strong, straight,and parallel.
c)Air conditioners are fitted at higher levels on the walls of a room in order to produce quick cooling in the room. This is because the cooled air from the AC comes down and the warm air from below rises up and a convection current is set up.
