Decision making in democracy involves long-term discussions and deliberation, formulation and deliberation takes too much time when compared to other forms of government.

It is hard to maintain the position of power in a democracy, elections are conducted after short interval of time and the governing party often loses control over the government. Report show that, for the ruling party it is more likely to lose election.

LIMITED RESPONSIVENESS TO NEEDS TO CITIZENS

It is seen that democratic governments are not very critical about the needs of the citizens, these governments are engaged to manipulate public opinion. it also could not be verified that the elections conducted are always free and fair.

Politicians are often seen to engage in vote bank politics, often leads to majoritarianism and collection of minority.
