Step-by-step explanation:

Given :

Floor Length = 6 m

Floor Breadth = 4 m

Area Of each tile = 400 sq. cm

Find :

Number of tile Cover a Floor

Solution :

Number of tile = Area Of Floor / Area Of one tile

Area Of Rectangle = Length × Breadth

Area Of Floor = 6 × 4

Area Of Floor = 24 m ^2

Remark : 1 m = 100 cm

1 m ^2 = 10000 cm ^2

Area Of Floor = 24 × 10000

Area Of Floor = 240000 cm^2

Therefore

Number of tiles = 24 × 10000 cm^2 / 400

( Cancel 400 by Numerator Digit )

Number of tiles = 600 tiles

The Number Of tiles Required to Floor is 600
