Firstly we'll consider the data given to us and will find out how much well can be dug by a person in 1 day. Then, by considering the second case we can find the number of days 10 people will take to dig 3 wells.

★ No. of days taken by 1 person =  10 × 6  = 60 days

Case - II

★ No. of days needed by 10 persons

⇒ 60/10

= 6 days

10 persons can dig 3 wells in :

= 18 days
