Hey

Solution :-

6 pipes fill a tank in 1 hour 20 min ( 80 min )
Work done by 6 pipes in 1 min = 1 / 80
Work done by 1 pipe in 1 min = 1 / 80 *1 / 6
Work done by 5 pipes in 1 min = 1 / 80 * 1 / 6 * 5
= 1 / 16 * 1 / 6
= 1 / 96

So , 5 pipes will fill the tank in 96 min
=1 hour 36 min .

thanks :)

Number of pipes-6 5
Time- 80min x
(Inverse proportion)
Time increases when pipes decrease
6×80=5×x
x=6×80/5
x=6×16
x=96
