WHAT WILL BE THE SHAPE OF THE FRAME?

Answer :-

If Rani changes one angle of this parallelogram into a right angle, without changing the measures of its sides then the new shape of the frame will be a trapezium.

Explanation :-

  • A parallelogram is a geometrical figure in which opposite sides are parallel and equal in length.
  • A trapezium is a geometrical figure in which two opposite sides are parallel and other pair of opposite sides are non-parallel.
  • A rhombus is a geometrical figure in which all the sides are of equal length.
  • A rectangle is a geometrical figure in which all the four angles are right angles and opposite sides are parallel and equal in length.
  • A triangle is a geometrical figure with three edges and three vertices.

If we change, one angle of the parallelogram to the right angle, then one parallel side will then become non-parallel after changing its angle.

Kindly refer to the attached image for a better understanding.

Hence, Option (2) Trapezium is the correct answer.
