Given :

Ravi earns Rs. 2,00,000 in a year.

He saves Rs. 60,000.

Therefore, money he spent = Money he earns - Money he saves

= 2,00,000-60,000

= 1,40,000

To find :

Ratio of:

(i) Money that Ravi earns to the money he saves.

(ii) Money he spends to money he saves.

Now,

\sf{Ratio  =  \frac{ Money \: he \:earns}{money \: he \: saves}} \\  \\  \sf{  =  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: \frac{20 \cancel{0000}}{6 \cancel{0000}}} \\  \\  \sf{ =  \:  \frac{10}{3}  =  \bf \underline{10  : 3}}

And,

 \sf{Ratio =  \frac{Money \: he \: spend}{ Money \: he \: saves} } \\  \\  \sf{ = \frac{14 \cancel{0000}}{6 \cancel{0000}}} \\  \\  \sf{ =   \frac{7}{3}  } =  \bf \underline{7 : 3}
