2. Read the Passage:
Jalpaiguri : In an effort to stop wild elephant from raiding Primary Schools, the
Jalpaiguri district administration is banking on lemon plants. The NRGA cell
plans to fence off all 25 schools adjacent to forest lands in the district with
lemon plants, so that the elephants cannot cross it and enter the School
Premises to get hold of the midday meal. The cell is all set to implement the
Scheme through 100 days' work to ensure the school-goers get their portion of
meal every day. We will plant lemon plants as a fencing in these schools. This
will benefit the students and also protect the school buildings from elephants,
said Sudip Ghosh, an official.
