Let the actual salary be x.

It is said that Ridhima donated Rs.3500 to an orphanage which is 5%.

So,

According to the question,

=> 5% of x = 3500

=> 5/100 × x = 3500

=> x = 3500 × 100/5

=> x = Rs.70000

Actual Salary is Rs.70,000.

Now,

• 45% of salary = 45/100 × 70000 = Rs.31500
• 10% of salary = 10/100 × 70000 = Rs.7000
• 5% of salary = 5/100 × 70000 = Rs.3500

Total amount spent

= Rs.( 31500 + 7000 + 3500)

= Rs. 42,000

Amount Ridhima saved

= Rs.( 70,000 - 42,000)

= Rs. 28,000
