6*. Some tickets of 200 and some of 100, of a drama in a theatre were sold
The number of tickets of 200 sold was 20 more than the number of ticket
of 100. The total amount received by the theatre by sale of ticket was

Then  the number of 1st  type of tickets sold = x + 20

200 ( x + 20 ) + 100 x = 37,000

200 x + 4000 + 100 x = 37000

300 x = 37000 - 4000

300 x = 33000

By Dividing by 300 on both sides, we have

x = 110

Therefore, 110 tickets of Rs 100 were sold.
