GIVEN

We are given a quadrilateral and we are also given the ratio of the angles of the quadrilateral

The ratio given is :- 3:4:5:6

PROCEDURE

We know that the total sum of the angles of a quadrilateral is 360°

Let the angle be X

Therefore the angles become, 3x,4x,5x,6x

SOLUTION

Now we add the given angles and equal it to 360°

==> 3x + 4x + 5x + 6x = 360°

==> 18x = 360°

==> x = 20°

Therefore the angles now become

==> 3x = 60°

==> 4x = 80°

==>5x = 100°

==>6x = 120°

Therefore the angles are 60° , 80° , 100° , 120°

Therefore the answer is 4th option

POINTS TO REMEMBER

  • Sum of the angles of a quadratic is 360°
  • Sum of angles of all 4 sided polygons is 360° and for 5 sided polygon, it is 540°
  • With an increase of one side of a polygon, the total angle sum increases by 180°
