let height be h, then base will be 2h

now,

area of parallelogram = base x height

512 = 2h x h

512 = 2h²

h² = 256

h = 16cm

Answer:

Base=32 cm and Height=16 cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

Area of parallelogram=512 cm

Let base be '2x'

and height be 'x'.

Area of parallelogram=base × height.

512=2x × x

512=2x²

512/2=x²

256=x²

x=√256

x=16 cm.

Now, base=2x

=2(16)

=32 cm

Now, Height=x

=16 cm.

Hope it helps you!
