Answer:

Answer. m let the breath of the rectangular Park be "b" area of rectangular Park = l x b but given area of rectangular Park = area of square park = 90 x b = 3600 = b = 3600/90 = 40 hence breath of the rectangular Park is 40 m.

Given :-

  • The area of a square park is the same as that of a rectangular park.

  • Side of the square park is 60 m and the length of the rectangular park is 90 m.

To Find :-

  • Breadth of Rectangular Park.

Solution :-

Let, The Breadth of Rectangular Park = b.

It is Given that,

Area of Square Park = Area of Rectangular Park.

➝ (Side)² = l × b.

➝ 60 × 60 = 90 × b.

➝ 3600 = 90 × b.

➝ b = 3600 ÷ 90.

b = 40m.

Hence,

Breadth of Rectangular Park = 40 metres.
