•The Delhi Sultanate was founded by Qutub-ud-din-Aibak ,the faithful slave of Muhammad Ghori. Qutub-ud-din-Aibak was also the founder of Slave Dynasty.

•The Delhi Sultanate spanned five dynasties,32 rulers and lasted for 320 years i.e. from 1206-1526.

•Among all, Tughlaq dynasty is considered as the greatest as it ruled for about 93 years.

•The last king of Delhi Sutanate was Ibrahim Lodi of Lodi Dynasty. He was defeated and killed by Babur in the 1st battle of Panipat. After the death of Ibrahim Lodi,the rule of Delhi Sultanate came to an end as Babur founded the Mughal Empire in India.
