Answer:

Let ABCD be a rhombus

diagonals :-

AC= 8cm

DB=15 cm

let AC and DB meet at a point O

AD² = AO² + OD²

AD² = 4² + 7.5²

AD² = 16 + 56.25

AD² = 72.25

AD = √72.56

AD = 8.5

HENCE, EACH SIDE OF THE RHOMBUS IS 8.5 CM....

hope it helps.......

Answer:

We consider a rhombus ABCD. Diagonals AC = 8cm & diagonal BD = 15 cm. & its point of intersection is O.

Since, its diagonals bisect each other at right angle.

=> in right triangle AOB

AO = 4 cm & BO = 15/2 cm

By Pythagoras theorem

AB² = AO² + BO²

=> AB² = 4² + (15/2)²

=> AB² = 16 + 225/4

=> AB² =( 64 + 225)/4 = 289/4

=> AB = √(289/4) = 17/2 = 8.5 cm
