x - y = 6 -----(1)

4y = x + 30

x - 4y = -30 ----(2)

subtracting eq. (1) from eq. (2), we will get,

-3y = -36

y = 12

x - y = 6

x - 12 = 6

x = 18

The bigger no. is 18 and the smaller no. is 12
