6. The mass of a copper piece is 44g
A measuring cylinder contains water
up to level 12 ml. The water level rises
to 17 me mave when the piece of copper
is completed immersed in it.
Find the Density of copper.​

final volume = 17ml

(i) so change in volume gives the volume of copper piece = 17-12 = 5ml

(ii) density = mass/ volume

= 44g/4ml

= 8.8 g/ml
