To find :

• Sides

Solution :

• Let the third side be x

• One side is x - 7 cm
• Other sides is x + 5 cm

Given that, Perimeter of rectangle is 47cm

Then,

》x + x - 7 + x + 5 = 47

》3x - 2 = 47

》3x = 47 + 2

》3x = 49

》x = 49/3

》x = 16.3

• First side = 16.3cm
• Second side = x - 7 = 16.3 - 7 = 9.3 cm
• Third side = x + 5 = 16.3 + 5 = 21.4cm

Hence sides is 16.3cm , 9.3cm and 21.4cm
