Given :

  • perimeter of rectangle sheet = 100 cm

  • length = 35 cm

To find :

  • breadth

Formula used :

 \sf \large p = 2(l + b)

Where :-

  • p = perimeter of rectangle
  • l = length of rectangle
  • b = breadth of rectangle

Solution :

perimeter of rectangle sheet = 100 cm

length = 35 cm

We know that :-

 \implies\sf  p = 2(l + b)

Now put :-

  • p = 100
  • l = 35

 \implies\sf  100 = 2(35 + b)

 \implies\sf   \dfrac{100}{2}  = (35 + b)

\implies\sf   \dfrac{ \cancel{100} \:  \: 50}{\cancel{2} \:  \: 1}  = 35 + b

\implies\sf  50= 35 + b

\implies\sf  15  = b

Answer:

 \sf  Breadth \: of \: rectangular \: sheet \:  = 15 \: cm</p><p>

Area of circle = πr²

Circumference of circle = 2πr

Area of square = (side)²

perimeter of square = 4× side

area of Rhombus = 1/2(diagonal 1)(diagonal 2)

Area of rectangle = length × breadth

Perimeter of rectangle = 2( length + breadth)

Given :-

Perimeter = 100 cm

Length = 35 cm

To Find :-

Area

Solution :-

We know that

Perimeter = 2(l + b)

Let the breadth be b

100 = 2(35 + b)

100 = 70 + 2b

100 - 70 = 2b

30 = 2b

30/2 = b

15 = b

Now,

Area = l × b

Area = 35 × 15

Area = 525 cm²
