2m + 6 = 8

2m = 8 - 6

We have find the value of the supplied expression in the above question.

Given the data in question  2 (m + 3) = 8

Arrange the equation and multiply by 2 into (m+3)

2m+6=8

Hence, for solving the above equation, we will solve it by separating the like terms at one side.

So, we will shift 6 from LHS to RHS, the sign will change from positive to negative,

So, we will get it as,

2m+6=8\\2m=8-6\\2m=2

Separating constant term shifting 2 from LHS to RHS that will shift in denominator

m=\frac{2}{2} \\m=1

Hence, value of "m" in above equation will be 1.
