6. The sum of digits of a 2-digit number is 11. If the number obtained by reversing the
digits is 9 less than the original number, find the number.

Answer : The answer is 65 as the sum of 6 and 5 is 11 and if 65 is reversed,

It forms the no. 56 which is 9 less than 65 .

Answer:

let the digits are x and y

then x+y=11

reversing the digits the number is 10y+x

10y+x+9=10x+y

9x-9y=9

x-y=1

x+y=11

adding,2x=12

x=12/2=6

y=11-6=5so the number is 65
