the digits is 45 more than the original number. Find the original number.

10y + X - (10 X + Y)=45

10y + X - 10 x - y =45

9y - 9 x = 45

y - x = 5...........(2)

adding both one and two equations

X + Y = 13

y = 9.

now it is easy to make out the value of x

X + Y = 13

X + 9 = 13

X = 13 - 9

x = 4

so the digit is 10 x + Y
