volume of the object = 20 cm³
density of water = 1 g/cm³
now density of the object ,
density = mass / volume
= 50 / 20
= 5 / 2 = 2.5 g/cm³
therefore density of the object = 2.5 g/cm³
and since ,
density of the object > density of water
2.5 > 1
therefore the object will sink in water .
