6. There is a rectangular park of length 170 m and breadth 155 m. Three roads, each of width 3 m pass
through the field - two roads are parallel to the breadth and third is parallel to the length. Find the area
of the roads.

Answer:

So area of road 1= 3×170

= 510 {m}^{2}=510m

Area of road 2 = area of road 3= 3×155

= 465 {m}^{2}=465m

but 2 small part of areas are including two time ..

area lf 1 small part = 3× 3

= 9 {m}^{2}=9m

so area of both the part = 18

so required area of road is

=510 + 465 + 465 - 18510+465+465−18

=1450 - 181450−18

= 1432 {m}^{2}=1432m
