6. There is a rectangular park of length 170 m and breadth 155 m. Three roads, each of width 3 m pass
through the field - two roads are parallel to the breadth and third is parallel to the length. Find the area
of the roads.

Answer:

Area of road1=3×170=510m^2

Area of road2=area of road3=3×155=465m^2

But two small part of areas are including two times area of one part=3×3=9m^2

Area of both part =9×2=18m^2

Required area of road is

510+465+465-18

1450-18=1432m^2
