6. There is an increasing dependence of students on coaching institutes and tuition
centres. Write a letter in about 100 to 120 words to the Editor of "The Times"
siving reasons for this over dependence. Also suggest a few measure that can be
taken to check this trend. You are Aman/Aditi, A-108, Mall Road, Agra [5 marks]

Sub : Increasing trend on Coaching and Tuitions.

Respected Sir,

Through the column of your esteemed newspaper I wanted to highlight the issue of excessive dependence of students on coaching and tuitions. Sir, it has become a trend now that people prefer coaching instead of self studies. When its asked, why they are doing so ? The most frequent answer is 'We cannot focus on studies'. Where has been this focuss lost ? We need to find it.

Even, more people on excuse of tuitions and coaching go for party with friends and waste their time. This must be avoided. People must understand the need for time. They must focus effectively, read between lines to understand the concept. Even by self studies also, people get great marks.

Sir I would suggest some ways so that students can focus more on their studies.

  • They must meditate so that their concentration increases.
  • They must clear their doubts and concept by the help of their teachers.
  • Schools and institutions must avoid supporting the tuitions and coaching for the sake of betterment of child.
  • Students must be encouraged to avoid coachings and do self studies.

Sir I request you to publish this in your article so that people must get information about this trend. Hoping for your positive response on this.

Thanking you

Yours sincerely

Aman

Sub: Increasing dependence of students on coaching institutes and tuition.

Respected Sir,

Through your esteemed columns, i am Aditi, writing a letter to you as I want a report to be posted in the newspaper on the above subject.

In today's world, we can see that most of the people are working, and hence cannot give any time to their children, especially in studies. So, they give them in tutions and coaching classes, with master tutors etc. But we are forgetting the emotions and reactions of the kids, they often feel it a burden and, the life long teachers are the parents itself. So, they also should spent some study hours with them.

I hope my letter would be posted in the columns of your newspaper, so that everyone can be aware of the current situations.

Yours truly,

Aditi,

A concerned citizen.
