The sipping action occurs when you lower the air pressure in your mouth, which allows the atmospheric pressure to push the liquid up the straw.

hope it helps ❤️❤️❤️❤️

First you have to know about the atmospheric pressure ..

Atmospheric pressure > vacuum pressure

Vacuum pressure = when there is no air present

And when you use a straw you suck all the air through your mouth so vacuum is created inside the straw and as I have discussed earlier atmospheric pressure is > vacuum pressure so pressure on the liquid is more than the pressure inside the straw and then atm pressure push the liquid in straw and you get the taste of your juice or whatever you are drinking ….

Hope you understand !!!
