Dear diary
always wanted to end my trip in Delhi on a high note and what could have been better than a visit to the famous National Museum, Delhi. It was one of the most well-known places in the capital city. The place was particularly known to every individual and I was there to see the different works that were done by professionals and experts pertaining to arts and also the library. The place was huge and I hired a guide, who helped me a lot in viewing the various things exhibited and learned a lot about them. The auditoriums were arranged every day and I was looking forward to seeing them. I wished to spend a little more time there, but couldn’t do so as I had to leave to catch the train, which was scheduled to leave that day. The museum is situated in the Janpath area and is quite near from any of the local places.I learnt that the museum is open from 10 am to 5 pm and the entry fee is also very less comparatively. The normal students are charged with 1 rupee while the other Indian visitors are charged with ten rupees. However, the foreigners are charged with 300 bucks, which also enabled them to enjoy the audio tour. One can easily visit the galleries for some extensive collection, which are good for audio tours. The nearest metro station was close to the Udhyog Bhawan or the Central Secretariat. With this last place, I ended my journey in Delhi and the experience was seriously mind-blowing. I hoped to visit the place soon and enjoy some of the historical places that I couldn’t visit that time. From the National Museum Delhi I returned to my hotel and took rest for some time. The hospitality shown by the staff was amazing and though I took the entire trip all alone, I could never realize that. Such was the warmth of the place and the affection showed by the local people. I boarded the train for Surat that night so that I could reach home on time.
