Since there are two dice and have 6 sides so,
Total combinations = 6 × 6 = 36
i) The minimum no. on dice is one and if we add both minimum no. of both dices, then it will be 2. so possible combination = 0
then,
P(getting sum 1) = 0 ÷ 36 = 0
ii) The combination in which the sum is equal to 4 are : (1,3), (3,1), (2,2)
so possible combination = 3
then,
P(getting sum 4) = 4 ÷ 36 ÷ 1 / 9
iii) The maximum no. on a dice is 6 and if both dice gets 6 then the total sum is 12, so every combination is less than 13
so possible combination = 36
then
P(getting sum less than 13) = 36 ÷ 36 = 1
