Answer:

Cancer refers to the abnormal growth of cell tissue. Tumours are usually divided into benign and malignant. A benign tumour is localised, develops slowly and does not usually result in the patient's death. Malignant or cancerous tumours develop more rapidly.

whereas, influenza is a common viral infection that can be deadly, especially in high-risk groups.

The flu attacks the lungs, nose and throat. Young children, older adults, pregnant women and people with chronic disease or weak immune systems are at high risk.
