GIVEN :

The equation is \frac{6}{2}x-(3-4x)=\frac{2}{3}

TO FIND :

The value of x in the given equation.

SOLUTION :

Given equation is \frac{6}{2}x-(3-4x)=\frac{2}{3}

Now solving the given equation to find the value of x :

\frac{6}{2}x-(3-4x)=\frac{2}{3}

3x-(3-4x)=\frac{2}{3}

By using the Distributive property:

a(x+y)=ax+ay

3x-(3)-(-4x)=\frac{2}{3}

3x-3+4x=\frac{2}{3}

7x-3-\frac{2}{3}=0 ( by adding the like terms )

\frac{3(7x-3)-2}{3}=0

By using the Distributive property:

a(x+y)=ax+ay

\frac{3(7x)+3(-3)-2}{3}=0

21x-9-2=0

21x-11=0

21x=11

x=\frac{11}{21}

∴ The value of x is \frac{11}{21}
